Countywide Planning and Development Office

The Countywide Planning and Development Office was created in 1994 through an interlocal agreement between Cache County and the communities within the county. The mission of the Countywide Planning Office includes four main areas which are specified in the agreement.

The Mission of the Countywide Planning and Development Office is:

  1. Coordinate and plan land use. Including providing professional support on land use questions, assist with coordination between cities in the county, and develop countywide land use guidelines.
  2. Provide an information resource system to assist local entities in meeting their planning needs.
  3. Plan and coordinate with other agencies to address the transportation needs of Cache County.
  4. Coordinate with cities and the unincorporated county for essential services.
